Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website, platforms, programmes, services, trainings, memberships, and activities of the Teachers Protection and Professionalism Alliance (TPPA).
TPPA is a professional initiative and programme of Teachers Professional Network (TPN), established to promote teacher protection, professionalism, welfare support, advocacy, and professional development within the education sector.
By accessing, registering on, or using any TPPA platform or service, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
1. Eligibility
Membership, registration, and participation in TPPA programmes are open to:
teachers,
educators,
school administrators,
education professionals,
and other qualified individuals approved by the organization.

Identification documents where necessary
Any other information voluntarily submitted through our forms or platforms
2. Use of the Platform
Users agree to:
provide accurate and truthful information,
use the platform lawfully and responsibly,
maintain professional conduct,
and avoid activities that may harm the organization, its members, or its reputation.
Users shall not:
impersonate another person,
submit false documents or information,
interfere with platform operations,
or engage in fraudulent or abusive activities.
3. Membership and Registration
Membership and programme registration may require payment of applicable fees.
Submission of an application does not automatically guarantee approval, certification, or membership status.
TPPA reserves the right to review and verify submitted information before approval.
4. Payments
All payments made through the platform are processed through secure third-party payment providers.
Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of payment information submitted during transactions.
TPPA and TPN shall not be liable for transaction failures resulting from incorrect information, banking issues, or third-party payment system interruptions.
5. Refunds
Refunds shall be governed by the official Refund Policy of TPPA.
Users are advised to review the Refund Policy before making payments.
6. Training, Certifications, and Professional Programmes
Participation in TPPA programmes does not automatically guarantee certification.
Certificates may only be issued upon successful completion of programme requirements, attendance obligations, assessments, or verification processes where applicable.
TPPA reserves the right to withhold, revoke, or deny certification where misconduct, fraud, or violation of organizational policies is discovered.
7. Professional COnduct
Members and participants are expected to uphold professionalism, ethical behavior, mutual respect, and responsible conduct in all interactions connected to TPPA activities and platforms.
Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, abusive conduct, or actions capable of damaging the integrity of the organization may result in disciplinary action, suspension, or termination.
8. Intelligence Property
All logos, designs, materials, documents, training resources, content, and branding associated with TPPA and TPN remain the intellectual property of the organization unless otherwise stated.
No material may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or commercially used without prior written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
TPPA and TPN shall not be held liable for:
indirect or consequential losses,
personal decisions made based on platform information,
technical interruptions,
third-party service failures,
or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
10. Modification of Services and Policies
TPPA reserves the right to modify, suspend, update, or discontinue any programme, service, policy, or platform feature at any time without prior notice where necessary.
Updated policies shall become effective upon publication on the official platform.
11. Termination or Suspension
TPPA reserves the right to suspend or terminate memberships, registrations, access, or participation where:
false information is provided,
organizational policies are violated,
fraudulent activity is detected,
or conduct is deemed harmful to the organization or its members.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
